Oh, how I wish I could smile like the Cheshire moon!
The waning crescent grin as the new moon looms.
The sliver in the sky with its nose and its eyes smile back at me
with brilliant dentistry.
No dentures,
No gaps,
No braces that scratch.
The teeth of this celestial feline grace but once a while.
But, oh how I love that Cheshire Moon Smile.

Wrote at 19. Not sure why I said " once a while" instead of "once in a while", but I must've had my reasons.
