Do you know how hard it is to keep a human in your life?
People move out,
People move on,
Go abroad. Travelers, yes we are.
We get laid off.
We get shipped off.
So, we separate.
Unintended—Yet, we fade.
Dare I say?
Let’s not get lost.
Let’s not drift away.
There’s no more carpool, and no more high school,
No more boredom from which we bond through.
So, keep in touch. Keep in touch.
Keep a human in your life.
Let’s meet up and talk about,
that which has changed since we last went out.
