TWO BIRDS THAT FLEW AMIDST STORMS

Remember who we are and where we came from, O my beloved, two birds that flew amidst storms.

He said
O MY BELOVED, now we are two birds
On the tree trunk, closer to one another,
Gazing at the blue shining sky in the middle of the night
Hearing the soft wind blowing with a sweet melody
And when our breath passionately rhymes with it
And here we are still wondering if it’s true.

Remember where we came from?, O my beloved
For we moved through the storms and waves
In the ocean, where nothing is spared.
We tasted the fury of hell in our journey
Of making you and I.
And here we’re still wondering if it’s true

And she said
Remember O my beloved
Cynics’ fingers never spared us
East, west, north and south,
We received the blows of dry wind
But we were like blossoms in the desert,
Surviving the anarchy of furious sunshine.

We persevered and took the same path and now,
Our world is so different with us inside
Time will forget us and never take us back
Where we came from but keep us in the present and future
Because we kept to ourselves back then,
That one day, Time will tell and now we are wondering if it’s true.

And He said
That we are two birds on the tree trunk
Hearing leaves falling silently from the tree,
As we are tightly squeezed together
Your head on my chest and my arms around you
Trying to dance with the tune of fire burning deep down our hearts
But still wonder if it’s true.
Remember who we are and where we came from, O my beloved, two birds that flew amidst storms.
