Poem: Roseburg Shooter

Oh-oh, yes he was The Roseburg Shooter
Soul going to Hell
Lived in a make-believe world of crazed dreams
of different personalities created by the government
with dreams and fantasies of Splendor.

No one ever seeing
Till it was far too late
He wasn’t doing well
Dangerous
Lonely
Evil
But no one could tell
When he said, “I am the sane one”.

Oh-oh, yes he was The Roseburg Shooter
Adrift in a world he thought did’t care
A damm shame
The Government may be the only part of the blame
For a man
So very bitter and twisted
All alone suffocating
The dreams of so many bright futures
That he took with him to make sure
That the government noticed him and felt him.

Too real are these feelings of grief and agony
Too real are these feelings of “Let me live! Let me get on with my life!”.
Too real are these images and sounds that the
media are forced to conceal and the government forces
those of us to fix for exchange of peace for our loved ones.

Oh yes he was The Roseburg Shooter
Just laughing and killing
Because he believed that to this cold, cruel world
He was nothing but a clown of those in control
Too little to fight.
Too late to change.
Did’nt see what we should have
Could have seen
If we’re just taken a closer look at the breaking
heart
Hidden within
Pretending to be normal whenever others were
around but hoping to be left alone so that he could
LOVE in peace.

Too real are these feelings of agony and grief.
Too real are the images and sounds the media won’t reveal
because of what the government wants them and us to conceal.

Sadly I have failed the dead again.
Oh yes too late
I was there
He was The Roseburg Shooter
Gone to hell......
