CLOUDS

Clouds surround the morning sky,
Sun hides within the dark grey clouds,
Peeking are his bright rays sometimes,
Casting silver linings like hope.

Dew drops weep with no sunlight,
No warm sun to create miniature rainbows,
Birds and bees fear to venture out in the dark,
For they know there is a tempest brewing among the clouds.

Earth below waits for rain and hail,
For she knows this cloud will clear the dust storms,
Pray she does to the heavens above,
To let the clouds burst and release his angst.
