The Leaf, Light & the Wind
Sun dappled leaves in the windy morning,
Hues of green and red,
Tender dancing delicate leaves,
Letting in light through them.
Sunshine strengthening leaf tender,
Leaf growing strong and darker,
Sunlight laying warm light on tender leaves,
To entice it away from deep slumber.
Leaf rustling in the wind,
Dancing to the songs of faraway places,
Mesmerized is she, leaf tender,
By the songs the winds bring.
