The Yield of the Hemp Plant Preserves Humanity
And it was so, the good grass was brought forth
By the Lord’s grace, hemp was given to mankind
The seed yielding herb of sticky healing flowers
By Mahdev’s grace, were sown across the Earth
To ease man’s burden, to provide for his needs
To nourish his soul, and to inspire his tired brain
And it was so, that the good herb was cultivated
Man saw herb was good, and grew her with love
The healing effects of cannabis invigorated man
Deep thought was brought to man by good buds
And it was so, by the herb’s side reason did grow
Men thrived by the grace of grass given to them
By the good herb men flourished and prospered
Man’s lot increased, and his offspring multiplied
His ingenuity, and culture grew diverse and vast
Since man’s beginning cannabis has been an aid
And a wise spiritual guide of mystical proportions
A provider, healer, a teacher, confident, a soother
Cannabis has been a plant Mother nurturing man
The good green herb was given as food to fortify
And so it was, that good grass was brought forth
To serve man, and provide for all his requirements
For the grass is given, and received with gratitude
For cannabis is for the prosperity, and preservation
Of the family of wo/man, to lovingly heal nations
