Color
Yellow is my favorite color,
It is bright and good and gay.
It’s the color of the sunshine
On a nice warm summer day.
It was my Nana’s color
Before she had to go.
Now she wears yellow in heaven
While angels dance to and fro
Yellow was the color of my cradle
When I was weak and small
It was what mother dressed me in
When Summer turned to Fall.
Let yellow be my favorite
To my dying day
Let it reign forever
And never fade away.
