Beloved Poetry

Thou art the language of the spirits
Thou art in the rhythm of the rain
In the stories hidden in the clouds
And in the anger of a lightning bolt
Ah yes, thou art the language of the spirits

Thou art a child at play
The songs that he sings
The smiles of the day
And the tears that he brings
Ah yes, thou art the language of the spirits

Thou art a sigh of eternity
The incarnation of our silent depths
A portrait of heaven
The color of passion
The nectar of the Gods
The adornment of thought
A wandering melody
The sound of vibrant silences
And the weaver of vivid dreams
Ah yes, thou art the language of the spirits, indeed
