Euphonic Winds

Euphonic winds carrying sweet sounds to me
from ambrosial gardens and a sunrise reveille

hymns of the heavens come down to earth
on velvety shoots and diamond’s worth

blowing in my ear as the summer winds blow
and angel breath stirring up the heaven’s flow

and sweet music flying toward me in rhyme
dipped in exotic spices and rosemary and thyme

melodic birds singing psalms from the upper skies
a symphony of the earth and of the mystic wise

a celestial ride on a rainbow up and back
and a falling from a cloud through a narrow crack

the oncoming winds of a euphonic origin
in cadence to the pulse of heaven’s disclipine,

the marching of the air to the ear of the heart
the sweetening of the skies right from the start

a new vehicle with a poetic mind to steer it
a new language, a new fragrance, a new spirit

and me with my ear to the euphonic winds
and me, dancing with my emancipated limbs
oh such air so sweet, to me thou cometh.
