Highway to Bliss

Rocky roads left behind and forgotten
melted down into white satin
by the breath of the southern wind
 suface lined with rainbow dust
smoothing miles up ahead
melodious currents in the skies
aero cushions floating in space
feathered landings on the stars
language of the spheres in the heart
the safety of the mind in the paladium
listless riding on soothing wings
quiet wind with hallowed hands behind
breath of heaven against the earnest sails
pure heart beating with every mile
destination engraved on the forehead
running down to the spine the heart the soul
the taste of bliss on the carnal tongue
a hallowed bliss that permeates the senses
an allurement that draws heaven nearer
a landing that has no words to say
a wonderment a jubilation a sigh  just the silence – –
