What If?

You were dissatisfied with
Things the way they were.
You were in total agreement
With one of the
Candidate’s policies.
You wanted to help
Make a difference.
You could have benefited
With the outcome of the election,
But you didn’t make it
To the poles on Election Day.
You thought that your vote
Couldn’t have made a difference,
But both candidates ended up
With the same number of votes.
With your vote, your chosen
Candidate would have won.
Too bad for you.
You could have made a difference
All by yourself.

I wrote this for "The Belt & Beyond's" Election Day issue.

All your fault. You didn’t get the “I voted” sticker. Hah!

Like. Thanks Robert.
