Longer Days Ahead
Longer days and shorter nights up ahead
as Winter will begin yawning to go to bed.
But first we must wait a little while
before the frozen ground becomes mild.
Mother Earth in her old age moves too slow;
but fast enough to shake off all the snow.
It takes time for her to change seasons
and we must wait for her for many reasons.
But she never fails in her obedience to the sun
as she spins around and pleases everyone.
