Water

Water, dews of heaven, of sacred clouds,
of ancient origins, pliant cathedrals, teary doors,
sympathetic hearts, observant eyes,
mother of the weeping meadows,
heroine of the parched fields,
matriarch of the Divine Order,
Lady Power, Lady Mercy, Lady Gentle,
fed by the lava from the volcanoes of peace,
Gods of kindness and compassion,
water flowing from its hallowed home of purity,
anointed by the scepter of the Supreme,

and water, the child of the bestial tempest
with its black and whirling colossal wings,
the materialization of the diabolic mind,
the marauder of the quiet earth,
the hater of the peaceful life,
the sweat of the father of the infernal order,
the venom streaming from his mouth,
the hell that’s formed upon the seas,
upon the gentle earth, the wheat fields,
the altars of the human spirit
and their hopes and dreams,
taking lives down under,
down, down to the
bottoms of the Earth.

Waters holy and waters evil;
eternal waters of random desires,
flowing to their predetermined destinies.
