Inside

Our life and our entireties,
We run and run from the light,
As if it was trying to catch me.
What is so bad about that?
We go off and do our own thing,
And in trying to correct others,
We don’t see the mistakes we are making.
On the outside we try to look sweet and nice.
All perfect and good.
As if nothing’s broken,
But that’s not true.
We try to look like life is good, and everything in it as well.
When in all honesty inside,
We are dying.
Now, not because of a sickness,
But because of the lie that says
“You’re happy”
It’s sickens me!
Why?
Because how can you live a happy life,
Knowing you aren’t truly happy inside!
You go to things and places, to people.
Looking for happiness there, but the empty burial isn’t going to be filled.
Why can’t you understand, the only happiness you can have is JESUS!
Money can’t help it,
Neither can love from a man, or women!
Either way you’ll still have that hole,
That wound in your heart,
Yearning to be recovered, to be fixed!
To glow, to shine,
And what do you do?
Damage it even more.
Life is more important than looking good from the outside.
It’s the inside that really counts!
Sounds Cliché, I know.
Something you’ve always heard,
But have you ever stop to think,
That this phrase holds meaning?
This phrase is right, not wrong.
Imagine a handsome man,
You meet him and
his inside doesn’t reflect anything you see!
Same with a women, so beautiful,
But once she opens that mouth it’s like a needle going inside your eye.
Who you are on the inside
Is worth more than how you look on the outside.
Think about it.
