A Poet Must Play The Wise Fool

Words work wonders with women’s wants and needs,
An honest man backs up his always with deeds,
The truth is enough, if that’s what he leaves,
And aiming to please, the least can appease,
Tai Chi and Chai Tea, check out my Feng Shui,
You see the finality of my Ikea destiny,
Less wise at times, blessed by ties,
The highs that I ride I hide in my mind,
Rely by and by on the love that I find,
And a place to crash out, lay down and unwind,
A catch that binds, to make a new deal,
Someone to love, and to know how they feel,
To make who you are in a way much more real,
And put hurts away, to find space where you heal,
Observation is creation; you make what you see,
And often it’s yourself shown externally,
The truth is we do what we focus upon,
What we always knew from our lifetimes’ new dawns,
Whether one is a strong king or a pawn,
To what we desire we always are drawn,
When woman can see me, even a bit,
Just for a moment, she gives me a hit,
She looks in my eyes and I realize,
How often I try to put out something wise,
Nice guys finish last, but he who laughs last,
Will never have fear for his own aftermaths,
Follow your heart down your passion’s own paths,
And live in the moment, for gladness and laughs,
Craving raving for a sight of delight,
Maybe saving up all night,
Bright light to see for her and me,
A daisy, maybe blowing free,
The breezes spring from trees that shine,
Singing time away is fine,
Drastic measures, hidden treasures,
Leisure time is on my mind.
