Can I Tell You A Secret?

I wrote this to my fiancé the first time I told her I love her so this is my most meaningful poem I've ever written

Never have I had such hardship harnessing a poem,
Painted with perplexity; my mindset never slowing.
Somehow you blow my mind up into subatomic particles,
Don’t know quite how you do it but it is just remarkable.
You have a way of making me feel like I’m astronomical,
Again I’m lost for words with you as what you do’s phenomenal.
It’s really something rather special that you leave me speechless,
My articulate vocabulary is facetious.
It looks like I get lucky with the language of the lyrics,
Linguistic logistics layed upon me by the spirits,
Wizard of the words painting my pictures in artistic angles,
But you’re too much to handle, I’m entangled, words dismantle.

People conclude that we’re moving too fast,
Absorbed in the present; neglecting the past.
Unacquainted with the things that you’ve done for me,
You’ve been my rock through the times of uncertainty.
You saw right through my perplexing persona,
And pulled me away from a narcotic coma,
You managed to keep my head just above water,
And when I was weak you were fighting my corner.

You’re not only my girlfriend,
You’re my re-animation,
Re-colouring my life
Into a wonderful creation.

I marvel at the intricacy of your pulchritudinous,
Sparkling magnificently; clear from altitudinous.
Now the night has fallen and the stars all shine above you,
I think that it’s the perfect time to tell you that I love you.
