I Wish
I wish you could know the feeling
The mind=blowing shock of betrayal
The moments that fight to keep stealing
Shreds of a state of mind that is lost forever.
I wish you could fall into that spiraling wonder
That renders the body so numb
But the pain that you are under
Makes its home in broken heart.
I wish you could know the loss
Thats worse than the broken trust
Security is the biggest cost
That you didn’t have to pay
I wish you understand
How you’re “nothing” is the something
You kept hidden in your hand
That altered my world for good.
I wish you knew the heartache
That never goes away
How every day there no mistake
I question everything you say.
Even though you hurt me
More than you will ever know
And destroyed my peace of mind
To a point of beyond sadness
I can’t wish this hell upon you
And I would never let it be
Somebody I tell that I love them
And vowed to be a “we”.
The only pain that could be worse
Was if my wish came true
I really couldn’t stand it
If your heart was broken, too
