I write songs, who gives a jot?

I was once in a Band, in Bananarama Land

I had one fan, a Tone Deaf, one night stand

I like Clapton and Hendrix, So What!

I can bend strings, while smoking pot

I auditioned for the Beatles, but they said I was Feeble

John Lennon said “ I was an Adult in a Cot “,

I got to play the Blues at the age of 72, So What!

Would of been great, if Hadn’t needed the Loo, Wow What!

Since I joined the Band the Zimmer Frames

The Nursing Home ain’t been the same lot

Now all the Old Folk are Rocking

And not knitting or counting spots
