Proclaiming the sadness you felt

Forgave me thinking I felt so remorseful

Still I didn’t feel anything.

But no shred of my thought can see it
I don’t feel good or sad or sorry
The things I did were a blur.
I never felt anything.
 
I did a bad thing
And I tell it as an anecdote
Anyone who asks I tell the story
Of how I betrayed your trust
While I didn’t feel anything.
