His tired eyes open slowly
In front of him, a goddess!
He tries hard to look away
But he feels simply pow’rless
Her sparkling eyes hypnotic
Her lovely face angelic
Her charming smile electric
The rest of her: Magnifique!
Tik-tok goes his frenzied heart
Rhythmic beats hypersonic
Confused delirious frazzled
Excited flustered frantic
Then she spoke! loveliest voice
He’s heard in his entire life
Instantly, he knows for sure
That she will become his wife!
There she stood in front of him
Breath-taking otherworldly
In a yellow bikini
How can he be so lucky?
But sadly, what she wanted
Help on a beach umbrella
For her three little children
Rachel Sarah and Lola
Her husband’s away she says
It’s an all-girls holiday
What else she said, just a blur
Nothing much to do or say
Glumly, he scanned the ocean
His hopes dashed; he looks away
For a few fleeting moments
He thought his long wait’s over
Not now, but eventually
Happiness he’ll discover!
