Fact
Love does not last,
it is a chemical reaction.
Love is a figment of your imagination.
Biological, not logical.
Enjoy the ten minutes, the ten years.
When it’s over feel the ache it leaves
in your chest times 100.
It is better to never know the ecstasy
so you will never know the pain.
Love does not exist.
Why be frustrated you can’t find it,
so sad and broken?
Reality unlike love is solid,
stand on something you know will never give way.
