No way out but in
Been wasting away in this hovel
for too many days to count;
wishing, hoping, scheming,
sometimes even praying,
for any way to get out.
No answer has come til now,
and the more I twist my mind,
the closest thing
to a way out of here,
is to go down deep inside.
There is no way out of this place
and never shall there be.
The cold hard truth I have to tell
if I've learned one thing at all;
there is no way out but in !
