It’s Happening Again
Everybody knows
that Jews are indigenous to Israel,
that they were frogmarched out
into the oft-deadly diaspora by the Roman Empire,
and that they have openly and
continually yearned to return ever since–
see “Next year in Jerusalem”
So, when the 23,000-strong labor union
of CUNY’s faculty and staff
find their unifying rallying cry in
“Zionism out of CUNY”,
everybody should know they’re really saying
No Jews at CUNY, in Israel, or anywhere else
Here’s what they say about New York today,
of whose 8-and-a-half million souls
20% are Jewish:
If you can make it (antisemitic) there
you’ll make it (antisemitic) anywhere
