Rain is Good

The sky is gloomy. Everything is wet.
The imprints are still there from when the rain and ground met.
Don’t go out or you’ll get sick.
Just stay inside and set fire to a candle wick.
I’m pretty sure you don’t want pneumonia.
So go and take a visit to Catalonia.
But rain is a necessity; we need it to live.
If we can’t live, we won’t be able to give.
If there wasn’t any rain, the trees wouldn’t grow.
There would be no water for the rivers to flow.
Without trees, we wouldn’t have oxygen.
We would get no prayers from the bishop or his suffragan.
If we suffocate, we would turn blue.
So by now, I’m sure you like rain, too.
