And So She Came to Be

Surrounded by the light, so she came to me.
Could not help but stare with my chin upon my knee.
The rapid pounding of a lost heart;
Soon to find the path with an eager start.

Gentle and understanding, so I was to her.
Created thoughts and threw them asunder.
Imagination found an equal, what great luck!
Frozen images in time, like the sitting duck.

It may be interesting to note, that in his greatest fear,
She knew how to guide him, to lead him ever near.
And so was built a bridge of everlasting trust,
A towering mountain of faith and sensuous feelings of lust.

If there was a way to cram it all in one,
then show what is meant, believe it to be done.
But does it really need to be this way?
Maybe so, but thanking god for her in his day.

Hearing the voice, reading the letter, thoughts caressing the mind.
She has him wrapped up tight and he never will unwind.
What can it be to explain what she has done?
No need to worry, no battle, nothing has won.

Thinking back on faith, oh! The word was hard.
Intangible piece of life, a double-edged shard.
To trust with all his might, it became easy to see
Why she has his heart, and so she came to be.
