My self deprecation
Are humbling jokes
As to starve my ego
Not a reflection of self hatred
My sense of self
And self love
Have never been higher
The only validation I need is my own
I can do anything I set my mind to
My limits are made to be broken
The only thing stopping me in life
Is my own endless imagination
My hands are capable
In whatever situation
They’ve been crafted to
Create, heal and love
I am independent in my own right
I only ask for help as needed
But never more than
What I cannot repay
So why do I feel so lost
So empty
So without meaning
Without you here?
