her body
held here
in captivity
her body
lying here
in agony
she was happy once
with her family
she was healthy once
in her reverie
now each day
a piece of her leaves
till all she is left with
is her misery...

i remember her
smiling bright
i remember her
inner strength
carrying her
day
and
night
i remember
she was never scared
i remember
she always cared
for herself
and
all of us
for her GOD
and
everyone else...

her body
held here
in captivity
her body
lying here
in agony
she was happy once
with her family
she was healthy once
in her reverie
now each day
a piece of her leaves
till all she is left with
is her misery...

i remember
the times before
i remember
needing nothing more
i remember
her shining eyes
i remember
her loving sighs
for my love
she is
and
always was
for my love
is
and
always was
a gift
from above...

her body
held here
in captivity
her body
lying here
in agony
she was happy once
with her family
she was healthy once
in her reverie
now each day
a piece of her leaves
till all she is left with
is her misery...

i remember
the day she said i do
i remember
her spirit shining through
i remember
the day the angels came
i remember
her calling them by name
for my love
is leaving us today
for my love
has nothing more to say...

on distant shore
she makes a new home
on distant shore
though not alone
no longer in pain
my love is made brand new
no longer a worry
those days are through
no longer tears
trapped in those eyes of blue
no longer ours
we say goodbye
to You...

her bright smile
she took with her
her touch grown cold
no longer remains
her eyes
are the last of her to leave
her family scared
though no one blames...

her body
no longer held
in captivity
her body
no longer lying
in agony
she is happy
with new family
she is healthy
in reverie
each day
a piece of us
joins her
on distant shore
each day
we are closer
to what we had before...

her body
no longer held
in captivity
her body
no longer lying
in agony
she is happy
with new family
she is healthy
in reverie
each day
a piece of us
joins her
on distant shore
each day
we are closer
to what we had before...
