“Days of Never-After”

Given to the Worry

In the days of Never-After
Came a discontented flurry
A mix of thought that lost a lot
When given to the worry.

Blame was cast upon the wind
And it fell like arrows from the sky.
Glass Houses and Ties That Bind
Were mixed with the By-and-by.

Then the skeletons in darkened closets
Began to see the light of day
In those days of Never-After
When the wind blew truth away.
