Rain Dance

“Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning to dance in the rain.”
~Anonymous

Just for Laughs

We’re amidst a drought
Save water, shower next week
Make it really quick
Save it for a cup of tea
On this we can all agree

Not a drop to waste
Commodity quite precious
Even gold’s jealous
Unlike metal it won’t shine
But when thirst hits it’s divine

Get the dance going
Hope soon it will be raining
The drought be ending
Showers invigorating
Awaiting every morning
Do it seven days a week
And you don’t have to be quick

While driving through northern Michigan, my wife pointed to me a huge billboard and the message said: :Save water, shower tomorrow." We didn't really understand the context of the message But the phrase impressed me to write this SILLY poem. I am hoping my attempt at humor reaches appreciative ears.
