A perspective of time

A second which turns to minutes,
Which turns to hours,
which turns To days.
Time fades before it has
Even fully arrived.
A second without you is a second,
A minute without you is still
Just one single minute.
A day without you has no time,
Just a feeling of hopelessness.
A night without you is eternity.
An eternity of fear and dread.
Time is pitiless, never slowing
For those in need of a sacred moment.
A minute is always a minute.
An hour is still 60 minutes.
A minute with you is worth a lifetime.
An hour with you is only a minute.
A minute without you is a lifetime.
A glance only takes a few seconds.
Yet a glance can make
every second pure, blazing hell.
A second is a lifetime’s worth of pain
Compacted into a minute with you.
And a minute with you is an hour
Of happiness muted by an eternity
Of second-long glances filled with
A burning, hellish pain.
A minute with you is heavenly light.
A minute with you is a lifetime of joy.
An hour fades to be a single minute.
A minute too small a fraction of time to count.
A second with you is still a second.
A minute without you is still a minute.
A minute with you is a second,
A minute without you, hell.
Time is merciless. It fades before it
Has the change to appear.
A minute is never a full minute.
A moment is never a moment,
But already a memory.
