Fine Line Between Race and Hate

I see more blue lights than red lights
From brake lights and this is every night.
The badge tells me major,
The gun tells me danger,
And I’m a citizen
Living from sin to sin
And you treat me like a stranger

What’s stranger is how I look at you
And try to prove my purity,
But there’s no way I’m not cynical and a criminal.
It’s a critical situation when we cross paths
Because both our mothers’ are dying
We keep on fighting
And see the other as the evil half.

We have to realize the Black and White truth
For lack of a better way to say it leaves us all blue.
We let bygones last,
But this constant bickering
Never stays in the past
And leads our titanic society to crash.

We blast one another
Take cash from one another
Steal fast and plant
Hell of headstones to make a summer.
But the powers that be still laugh
As we grow more mad and sad
At the degradation of our own nation

And the strings are pulled from shadows
By a dark puppeteer
And the only free will we get is,
To wipe away our tears?
And they tell us that
It’s our own kind we should fear?
So I can put my brother in a coffin
To try to solve the problem
Because they tell me he’s my competition
But you clowns still hold me down
I’m barely standing my own ground
NIGGAS it’s time to stop and listen.

Enough of us wishing upon a star
While we sit behind bars
Because that hasn’t gotten us too far
And we say we pray but yet
We continue to slay
So I guess we’re all prey
We stray from truths
Like these bullets that have no names.
Every man for himself
We all lose but still play this game
We believe in change and wonder
Why shit stays the same
Think with your head to get ahead
That was the original definition of brain

A shame, and now we have kids
Pulling down pull-ups,
I feel sick just thinking
About how the TV fooled us.
Because porn and Disney is responsible
For our irresponsible world
We believe in happily ever after
But only after we cum together on this matter

It shatters our ideals of what’s worth holding on to.
Holistically our souls can’t be
At arms with our running minds
Because both are going opposite directions
Direct from Worldstar here goes
“Twerking to get a bone”
Here check it out
Right from your iPhone
Demons leave us alone.
Take me to a home where
My phone stays on roam
Far from this full course
Lesson on depression
In less than 2 days 4 hours and 37 seconds
You will be stopped by a cop
He’ll tell you step out of the car
Put your hands to your head and drop
Once you resist, shot.

Your ETD was 3:33 from a nine to the head
But ETD should mean Evil Triggers Death
The depth at which evil has chosen to grow
Is amongst the silence in souls
So the deaf are blind to its glow
Small murmurs from monsters
Making mayhem in the midday
It’s a pity that these things happen in every city

And it’s awful that the youth
Are so awe-filled with
The thoughts of being gangsters
When there ain’t nothing to gain
The more you moors club
Each other in the clubs
The pigs will dog you dogs
And the gavel will pound you to the pound
While those leashes keep you
A yard away from each other on the yard

He told me it’s hard when all you seen
For the past 10 years are these bars
Another 15 that shit seems like it’s beyond far.
I feel the same in this race against race
It’s black on black crime
On every radio station line,
Streaming live.
Best part it’s 24/7
So you see and hear the shit all the time
