Mirrored

His Life

As he looks in the mirror,
His eyes are red to the brim,
Tears stream down his cheeks,
Sweat runs down his sleeves,
His shirt as wet as the sea,
Why is he crying? What could it be?

He never liked normal,
He never liked suits or anything formal,
He disliked the taste of food eaten with forks and knives,
For these, Society threw him out,
But he never really liked society,
So then whatelse could it be?

He wasn’t liked by his teachers,
He was found in controversies with certain preachers,
He has just few friends and all were loyal,
But most of the time, he was a loner,
He never minded the quietness of being lonely,
So then what could it be?

He still looks at his mirror,
Abnormality helped him to be stronger,
Society envied him after he was kicked out,
His teachers learnt, and most preachers sought him after,
His friends were still behind him through all,
He cracked his back and stood tall,
Looked in the mirror as the tears reached his chin,
He smiled and said “I truly lived”
