Skeletons

They breathe,
But are they truly living?
Little muscle,
Stretched skin tight against the bone.
Their hips protrude,
Sharp and pointy from their bodies.
Hungry, they starve themselves for beauty.
Magazines, and movies, and media,
Three m’s that destroy the minds of generations of women.
Our bodies are beautiful.
Our bodies are gifts.
