Positivity
Positive is a word that means a lot to me.
It can be absolutely sure, certain, or of high reliability.
But from my point of view it brings you up, not down.
Positivity keeps you standing when failure, or depression is around.
So one may ask, from where comes this positivity?
And I’ll reply from my savior, the one who saved and set me free.
This is the same man who placed Steve, Andre, and Pam in my life.
To encourage me that my body is God’s, to decrease the strife.
He also placed these people in my life for me,
So I will turn to the word of God instead of negativity.
Positive is when I can write out how I really feel,
Instead of cutting, having sex, or popping some pills.
Positivity is having on my face, a huge smile.
My smile induces yours, and it will be there for a while.
