I have a daughter
As precious as can be
Wonderful and kind
She means the world to me
I have such happy memories
Of when she was a girl
I felt very proud to have
The best daughter in the word
I have watched her blossom
to a woman from a girl
my beautiful daughter
time passed in a whirl
nothing can come between us
we are as close as can be
we can rely upon each other
it’s plain for the world to see
time has flown too quickly
but fond memories are here to stay
I couldn’t be without her
We talk each and every day
As I gaze upon my daughter
And I see how much she’s grown
She too is a mother
With a child all of her own
So now I am a grandmother
A new chapter has begun
I want to just say thank you
I am so proud to be your mum
