Rain
The sky is crying
Dripping so soft
So lightly so delicate
So quiet so smooth
The sky is yellow but is also grey
The sky is bright but also dimmed
It’s a faded bright light seeping through the glass
I’m watching the sky cry
While its feeding the grass
It’s a fall colour
With orange and reds
The outside looks dark but brightness comes in
For once I don’t feel empty while it rains
It feels good to watch the water drip from tree to tree
From flower to grass
That fresh scent I breath
It’s new it’s exotic, It’s hypnotic
It’s awakened my scentses
Open my eyes and my mind is clear of wreckage
I feel at peace watching this glow
The sky turns pink and yellow
But I sit here for thirty, maybe an hour
The sky gets dark as the moon devours
I feel relaxed for once after a storm
For once the rain made me feel so warm
