vanilla hearts

Be yourself cos nobody else will

Uneasy leanings dwell silently
Within the vanilla heart
Projecting a usual and normal face
Tired whims of vagabonds

To all around your blood pumps loyal
No deviation of paths and course ways
Your shroud lays waste to truth
You are your heart not what’s seen

Abound, slain beliefs jolt forced grins
The breeze of idiocy clambering high
A suit of armour, a stab proof vest worn
As negativity cascades down over time

We sit and ponder the procession
The inspirational draught of intimacy
All lies now told, rebelled against toil
In this maze of hypocrisy I’m swallowed by

This vanilla heart beats without purity
It tbrobs for things others don’t see
Lured down a silk road of strangeness
Into the darkness tbat beguiles, overthrows

The vibe felt smacks of inconstancy
Odd dominion and cool bavery tells
Of how vanilla lions still roar the same
Just sober, sombre and Dislocated

And I can’t feel me anymore, i’m deflated
The vanilla melts and thaws, pouring sad
Away from the digression and deception
And I can’t feel me anymore, ascension

At the vanilla heart of strange liberty
Walled up in the courtyard of free will
Sits jealousy and vile ignominy
And angels in saunas sweating down

Easy leanings dwell loud
This vanilla heart is broken open
It sings a normal dirge as it fades
No more shall emotional shackles be its guide

My soul is mine and mine alone
Whatever I wish is mine to own
Love is king and queen of this tale
To live a vanilla life belies truth

So, live you life in anger
Live your life in rage
Let darkness be the fuel you use
To burn every and the last diary page

You are neither one or the otber
You’re both black and white
Both good and evil
Interminable happy and sad

Live how you wish to live
Don’t be told which way to go
Cos that way leads back to vanilla hearts
And you’ve lived that life before

sometimes people are afraid of being themselves around others, fear of ridicule makes them conform to what they don't believe in.
