decided to connect,
but our feet, with little synchrony,
walked towards different paths.
 
We ran, trotted through
new worlds, touched other bodies,
kissed other lips, and even when the synchronicity between our feet left us all the time, the perfect connection between our souls remained.
 
We have worried so much
about the distance,
that we forgot that even
if your sky and mine may paint
themselves in different colors,
they will always be the same sky.
