The Road Most Traveled by

A shift and counter to the road least traveled by or is it? You decide.

There comes a road,
which way does it go,
north, south, east, west,
so pick your way,
no traveling mid day,
I was little once,
with every road a choice,
a part of me is missing,
could it be my voice,
Life is an illusion,
A mind that’s ruthless,
I roll down the road most traveled by,
down the street most watched at times,
thumb out if I get stranded,
hitch hiking,
para shooting from this jump I’ve landed,
It passes every time,
I’d rather not oblige,
with every point of departure,
taking me down a road that’s farther and farther,
Ive changed from the small child I once was,
I found an old road,
on a very old map,
they tell me the road your going down won’t be as long,
It will turn your life around,
the road most traveled by
