anxieties uncertainties
tribulations
at the crossroads of our life
all the evils that spilled
from Zeus’ Pandora’s box
through all this
we seek hope
hope that is always there
eternal
from the first light the stars
embraced
from the first light the stars
were graced
hope that remained inside
the box to sustain us
to give us the foundation
anchor us to center our soul
to direct us to the way
the way of the in dwellers
in our heart
taught us compassion
family values
love of life
give us the peace of mind
our wishes of good things fulfilled
an assurance
a love tapestry
of the fabric of life
a rainbow a canopy
a bright future
of bountiful happy times
embedded in our prayers
in our heart they reside
faith hope and love
we are blessed
to share these and share alike
unselfishly
with those close to our heart
our family our children
and those who love us
friends and strangers
share the pathways
of faith of hope of love
faith in the unseen
hope in fulfillment
charity for all
all... challenged and unchallenged
in life
the teachings of these virtues
laid before us
in conception
in the womb
for the total atonement of our sins
to overcome
the travails the misfortunes of life
halt the hatreds of the fallen angels
triumph over the tribulations
spilled upon us
