Logia in Lyre

You took me with one entwining kiss lost
Me in a desire to touch your yielding
Innocence that was beauty to the last
Breath of holiness and pride protesting.
I lost my mythical mystical soul
Webbed solitary once and last with you
Sans reverence glueing flesh my hands roll
In the moon Deity no longer Helio.
Odor of my soul I can smell it!
Bring once more my celestial place I weep.
Scent of my soul not again I shall breathe!
That place in the moon left and not to keep.
Deities immortals in fields of mortals
Logia in trinity lyres mystical.

Reconciling one facet of my '60s carefree life-my lost celestial place-
with the mystical trinity. Like Telemachus I needed Mentor. And Time
had and still presenting me lessons to make the right turn at the fork
in the road.

Very beautiful metaphors, and thoughtful musings of life. Always a pleasure to read from your pages.

Always a pleasure as well knowing that you read and always have from my pages that in many ways are inspired by you.
I am thankful and very happy. Keep smiling.

I believe that in the tranquility of the night, we can perhaps receive logia or divine communication. At least that is my hope.

Nice sonnet Nelson.
