I sat there crying,
tears flowing like the river nile,
i had accepted that i lost on love,
felt the dread of darkness overpower my ability to feel,
felt my spirit shutter just before entered my life,
then you walked in as i opened the door for you,
when you entered i left the door open incase you chose to walk out.
you held my hand, i felt you touch my soul,
you kept me close, i felt you awaken my spirit,
i thought you were done then i felt the safety of being in your presence.
you let me in, in ways that i had always needed from another,
you gave me care and support where most failed to offer it,
i smile alone now because each day spent with you makes me feel ive known you my whole life!!
where are you from i ask myself,
why wasnt i aware i intervene my thoughts,
when did love feel so safe i ask God
i dont believe in everlasting things,
but God once again showed He favors me by leading you my way,
im proud to call myself your woman,
You bring out the best in me!
