Here we are, again
Three 9-year-olds were slaughtered today
Because the Second Amendment
Gives the false impression that
Owning guns is an unfettered right
For nearly any person who wants to have them.
Making new laws and regulations is pointless,
We are told,
Because we simply must have our guns.
The loss of innocent life is a price
That we will continue to pay in this,
The United States of the NRA.
How does all this madness end?
With love and respect to the victims of Nashville, and every other mass shooting in this nation.
