The Planning
We are the result of meticulous planning
of the Universe in its primal form expanding,
from darkness into light and light into life,
then ashes into Adam before he took a wife,
from the spirit into matter and matter into soil,
then soil into furrows to let the crops come of age
and we as the consumers turn another page
as the planning developed to never come to rest
and the seasons get ready for their manifest
as the heat of the sun returns in the spring.
