Faceless Goddess

She sings to me so sweetly,
Like fingers tracing across velvet,
Within the darkness of the night,
As we lay across my azure blanket,

She is my tender goddess,
She is my angelic muse,
The lady leaving me awe-less,
Her face perfect, bronze, flawless,

She sings to me so sweetly,
And as drift to deep sleep,
I don’t have to think so deeply,
She is the one who makes me weep,

Faceless goddess,
Upon waking, you are not there,
Only a dream,
Only a dream,
I am a hopeless dreamer,
doesn’t it seem?
