Lucky Dube

Lucky Dube,
We were all Lucky to have to you around,
You brought reggae in the bathroom,
Reggae in the public buses,
It was reggae everywhere,
A true African hero,
You educated and informed us,
That we were just different colours but we were one people,
And that we were born to suffer,
And also this world was not our destination but just a transit,
Its like we all knew you personally,
Through the lovely harmony encompassed in your songs,
which had a true African vibe and powered all Africans with a sense of pride,
You had a Heart of a lion and a voice of an angel,
Our own Bob Marley,
You were our own voice,
When we were broken, wounded, and out of sight,
You brought us back to life,
And when we had thoughts of giving up,
You gave us reason to rise and fight,
We gonn miss you forever
But luckly your music will live forever.
Rest in Peace our legend,
Our true revolutionary.
