Overwhelmed-
I am overwhelmed now.
Every other place reeks of you.
Every passing bench, every walk, every song
It pains me to struggle, to repaint it all
All with something that is mine, And just mine.
Force me, to not care for you anymore–
Whoever comes and goes and stays–
The world around me is mine to frame!
It would be a lie if I told you
It only makes me cry,
These days, it makes me blush
I walk ahead with a distracted mind
But every step reminds me of you,
Lingering through my most mundane of days.
Every break, every tired sigh, shifts dramatically
Into a window that replays our days
Oh, you sweet, sweet reminder of reality–
A deliberate, conscious decision.
I let myself heedlessly fall into -
An unexpectedly crafted accident
by itself fell into a masterpiece of a composition!
Our paths intertwined in the most Absurdest of ways!
If only the world understood
My blank eyes filled with heavy tears
I am trying my best to move ahead
& It kills me inside, each time my dear.
Each time you look me in the eye, my dear
I see the tremble that reflects the fear
That awaits my last words that’ll forever tear
