Unseasonably -

For it might not be in plain sight, nor in my dreams, the ones we shared–
And neither would I let you see, even when you look right at me
That smile will fool you, till you realize, or maybe you’ll never know–
For this is how it’s always been, only now the massacre is in broad daylight

My eyes will bleed for the endless rivers I have cried so far
They’ll flourish the blossoms on my shoulder–
oh! you’ll watch me grow! Do smile–
Not into what you once saw me seek,
but into this blooming essence of strength, love and care–
and sympathy.

The occasional drafts will spread my joy as I lay motion less,
I won’t, I don’t dare breathe–
until I soon disappear into the art piece I curated by myself, no one will know–
And you’ll no longer remember me, but maybe the flowers I grew,
the ones that I shared with you -

You’ll come and visit me, won’t you?
Only to remember me maybe, if you can– oh I won’t insist.
But maybe on some days I’ll peek at the sight of you,
a glimpse through the corner of my eyes.
Dont close them thinking I’m not alive,
I’ll be there, just paralysed.

So when you miss the event in broad daylight,
In background and so you watch me lay,
Once again, on the cold, wet grass, the way I enjoy to–
Don’t come and check on me, don’t wake me up. Just let me be–

Let me fade and be swallowed by the earth, slowly.
Let me lay, be stuck in the frame,
let the blossoms bloom, unseasonably.
