Warriors of Light
During the time of total darkness, God sent us light,
To get us out of miseries and end our plight.
Soon the blue skies vanished and clouds of darkness loomed,
The spirit of pureness died and the feeling of hatred boomed.
Darkness disseminated everywhere and light was blocked,
Hopes were crushed, hearts bled and minds were locked.
The warriors of light got lost in the darkness,
There were wars, destruction and barbaric acts of madness.
Our dreams were stolen and hopes shattered,
We forgot our path and things which really mattered.
We made mistakes; so many times they were repeated,
We were outnumbered and outstripped, but never defeated.
We are the warriors of light, resilient and fearless,
Our mission is to spread light and end the darkness.
We will rise, unite, embrace pureness, and spread light,
Revolution has begun and it’s the end of a long dark night.

This poem signifies human race as fallen angels. We have forgotten our source and true selves, instead we are lost in the materialistic world. Through this poem, I've attempted to remind ourselves that we are the true Warriors of Light.
